How to cut holes and fit your speakers to our factory 4” speaker replacement mounting plate (‘Mid Mount’).
Our ‘Mid Mounts’ are designed to allow you to fit a smaller speaker (2” tweeter or 3” mid-range speaker) to replace the factory 4” speaker in the dashboard. These mounts do not have a left and right, they will fit either side.
We stock the common hole size options, if your speaker model requires a custom hole size you will need to drill a hole using a hole saw. Drill this hole gently, without applying excessive pressure.
Secure your speaker from the back side using a bead of silicone or Sikaflex. Don’t use screws to secure your speaker as the screw is likely to crack the plastic.
