Points of Interest…

• Easy to clean; the ABS plastic cup holders and L shape storage tray, and the internal lining are all removable. You can easily take these items out of the console to clean.
• French Seam upholstery; our product has a professional soft padded vinyl finish.
• Colour matched, custom made vinyl! Our EXCLUSIVE custom made DeluxeTrim vinyl range includes a darker grey to match the dashboard, mid grey to match door trims and lighter grey to match the roof lining, and black to match the instrument cluster and other black accessories in the cabin.
• No rattles; we use ABS plastic instead of metal for our cup holders and storage tray to avoid any rattles from coins, cans, metal coffee mugs etc.
• Easy to fit; our floor consoles have galvanised steel mounting brackets positioned to locate existing captive nuts in the floor. No holes to be drilled or damage to the vehicle! Installation hardware and clear installation instructions are included, and we’re available to assist via email or over the phone.

Vinyl Care Instructions...
Below are some pointers for how to clean and protect the vinyl upholstery. The information below is most important for the padded lid/ armrest in your vehicle, which is exposed to the most wear and tear.
Use a silicone free vinyl care product to protect the vinyl, plastic and rubber in your vehicle against UV from the sun. Vinyl care products will also protect your padded armrest from exposure to sweat, sunscreen and bug repellant, which are the main reasons high wear areas dry out and crack.
We use and recommend Bowden’s Own Vinyl Care. Grab yourself a great Australian Made vinyl care product to keep your interior clean, protected and looking fresh for years to come!

• Q: Can I DIY install?

Yes, absolutely. Our products are supplied with fitting instructions (most are also available on www.consoles.com.au), and support via email or over the phone.

• Q: Do I need to drill any holes into my vehicle to fit this console?

A: For all vehicles that had two bucket seats from factory, and factory ‘console’/ plastic tray installed; our console is secured with existing mounting points in the vehicle.
A: If your vehicle had 3 seats installed in the front row from factory (driver’s bucket seat + passenger’s bench seat), you will need to drill new mounting points in the floor. We supply the required mounting hardware.

• Q: Do you offer custom designs/ layouts?

If you email us the details of your requirements, including the model numbers for the accessories you’d like to install, we’ll confirm feasibility.

• Q: Can I fit my UHF to a Full Length Floor Console?

A: The front accessories facia is on an ideal angle to fit a UHF radio, which you will need to see and operate while driving. There is a limited amount of depth behind the front accessories facia. The width is also limited as a result of the airbag mechanism and deceleration sensor installed in this position (located under the factory cup holder to the left of the shifter). The following UHF radios can be mounted into the Full Length Floor Console:
GME TX3520 - the remote face of this UHF will fit in the front facia (we'd suggest on the passenger's side). The body of the UHF can be fitted inside the console close to the back. We'd suggest fitting a GME SPK-07 extension speaker as the speaker in this UHF is in the body of the radio (which would be muffled). Alternatively, if you are considering (or have already done) a stereo upgrade, you can wire the UHF radio up to the factory pioneer 4" speakers under the dashboard.
GME TX3100 and TX3120S - This 'super compact size' UHF will fit on the driver's side of the front accessories facia. We'd suggest fitting a GME SPK-07 extension speaker as the speaker in this UHF is in the body of the radio (which would be muffled). Alternatively, if you are considering (or have already done) a stereo upgrade, you can wire the UHF radio up to the factory pioneer 4" speakers under the dashboard.
GME XRS 330C and GME XRS 370C (+ any other UHF radios with all controls, speaker and and screen on the hand piece e.g. Icom IC-450)- The body of the UHF can be fitted inside the console close to the back. We can supply and fit an RJ45 plug in the front accessories facia for $40 incl. GST. to plug in your hand piece. ​
Other 'Super Compact', 'Mini Compact' and 'Micro Size' radios e.g. Uniden XTRAK 40, Oricom UHF300 etc. can be fitted on the driver's side of the front accessories facia.

• Q: Will the console fit with aftermarket seats installed?

A: For customers with a vehicle that originally had a bucket and bench seat configuration (3 seats in the front row); we require a photo of the area between the seats to check aftermarket seat brackets or other obstructions.
A: For customers that had two seats in the front from factory; our product is designed to fit with most aftermarket seats. Our console is 190mm wide between the seats, so please check you have sufficient width available.

• Q: How big are the jumbo cup holders?

​A: The internal diameter of our jumbo size cup holders is approximately 88mm. The internal depth is 75mm, including a smaller diameter 'tier' in the bottom to accommodate can size drink containers.

• Q: Is there a way to fit larger diameter bottles/ drink containers?

• Q: Can you fit a can with a stubby cooler in the cup holders?

A: Yes. Just add the jumbo cup holder disks to your order. Our jumbo cup holder disks are a disk/ doughnut shape piece of flat plastic that sits in the jumbo cup holder to level out the two tiered design, making it suitable for drink sizes in between the two set diameters e.g. a large sports drink (Maximus) or stubby cooler diameter. 

• Q: How big is the L-shape Storage Tray?

A: Here are the dimensions of our plastic L-shape storage tray:
190mm wide (across the width of the console)
125mm long (along the length of the console)
55mm deep

• Q: What charging outlets do you use?

A: We use the Narva Australia Heavy-Duty Twin Accessory/Dual USB Sockets

•  Q: Can you fit stainless steel cup holders?

A: We use ABS plastic instead of metal for our cup holders and storage tray to avoid any rattles from coins, cans, metal coffee mugs etc.

• Q: Do you offer custom upholstery?

A: Yes. Our most popular colour options are dark grey to match the dashboard, or black to match centre instrument panel, however we do offer this product in any colour of your choice. If you've had some other work done to your interior and would like to match the material you have already used, we can upholster the console in the same material. We have accounts with most suppliers in Australia and can most likely source the material to match. • Q: Is this product available in leather?

A: We don’t offer leather upholstery for two main reasons:
Leather isn’t available in a custom colour range, meaning we can’t offer an exact match to the factory interior like we can with our custom DeluxeTrim Vinyl range.
Leather is not a pliable material, so the complex shapes in our consoles cannot be upholstered without imperfections.

• Q: Do you need to remove the factory rubber boot(s)?

A: The manual gear boot in our product is decorative only. The installer must leave the factory rubber boot in place. This rubber boot acts as a seal to prevent fumes and transmission noise from entering the vehicle.

• Q: Can I buy the blank plywood frame?

A: We do not offer our product as a blank timber frame. Our machinists and upholsterers have tens of years of experience and we love to offer our product with the highest quality finish.

• Q: Does the console obstruct the glove box?

A: No. There is a small recess on the passenger's side at the front which allows for the glove box to open correctly without rubbing on the side of the console.

• Q:  What is the console made out of?

A: Our products are constructed with exterior grade, marine bonded plywood and finished with soft padded vinyl upholstery to match your interior.
